Metro Fire Protection (“Metro”) will be performing the Fire Pump Test at 1 Clinton Street on November 14, 2019 from 6pm – 12am.   Metro will be following standard methodology to test the fire pump and standpipe system in the building from 4 separate zones throughout the building.  You will see fire hoses running vertically outside the building and may see water running off the roof of the building during this test (see attached letter from Metro for more details).   The fire pump test will be performed under an after-hours permit from the NYC Department of Buildings.  Metro personnel will be on hand to act as flagmen to direct local pedestrian traffic.  Consigli Construction, the general construction manager for the project, will be on hand to contain water as needed.

Con Edison is currently working to bring electricity to our site.  They will be working at night on 6/21 to complete splices.

March 12, 2019

Here’s what you can expect to see on site in the next two weeks:

The week of 3/11, the construction crew will be pouring the 37th floor roof slab and delivering the rooftop mechanical equipment.  Block will be installed on floors 22-24 and exterior stone installation will continue on the Cadman Plaza West and Clinton Street elevations. Upturned beams will be poured on the 28th and 29th floors and windows will be installed on the 7th and 8th floors. Inside the building, interior framing will continue on the 5th and 6th floors. General housekeeping (clean-up and trash collection) and implementation of site safety protocols will continue.  ConEd is expected to be working on Clinton Street.

Next week (starting 3/18), the crew will pour the 38th floors. Block installation will continue on the 24th-26th floors. Exterior stone installation on Cadman Plaza West and Clinton Street will continue and windows will be installed up to the 8th and 9th floors. Upturned beams will be poured on the 30th and 31st floors. Interior wall framing will occur on the 6th-7th floors. ConEd is expected to be working on Clinton Street.

February 8, 2019

Here’s what you can expect to see on site in the next two weeks:

The week of 2/11, the construction crew will be pouring the 34th floor and forming the 35th floor.  On the “C” portion of the site, closest to One Pierrepont, we will be pouring the 2nd floor roof slab. Block will be installed on the 16th and 20th floors of the tower. Exterior stone installation will continue on the Clinton Street elevation. Upturned beams will be poured on the 24th and 25th floors. Window installation will continue to the 5th and 6th floors and interior framing will occur on the 2nd and 3rd floors. General housekeeping (clean-up and trash collection) and implementation of site safety protocols will continue.  The sewer connection on Clinton Street is in progress and there are possible road closures, though access to parking garages on Clinton Street will be maintained. ConEd is expected to be working on Clinton Street and there is a possible street closure for that work as well.

Next week (starting 2/18), the crew will pour the 35th and 36th floors. Block installation will continue up to the 21st floor. Exterior stone installation on Clinton Street will continue and windows will be installed up to the 6th and 7th floors. Upturned beams will be poured on the 26th and 27th floors. Interior wall framing will occur on the 3rd floor. No street closures are anticipated.

Happy Holidays! Here’s what you can expect to see on site in the next two weeks:

The week of 12/17, the construction crew will be pouring the 25th and 26th floors and installing block on the lower levels of the tower. Exterior wall waterproofing and stone panel installation is occurring up to the 3rd floor.  Mechanical and other interior work is ongoing up to the 18th floor. General housekeeping (clean-up and trash collection) and implementation of site safety protocols will continue.  ConEd is expected to be working on Clinton Street and there is a possible street closure. The DEP water connection is also in progress.

Next week (starting 12/24), the crew will pour the 27th floor. Exterior wall waterproofing and block installation at the exterior and lower levels will continue.  Stone panel installation will continue up to the 3rd floor. ConEd may still be working on Clinton Street and there is a possible street closure.

Here’s what you can expect to see on site in the next two weeks:

The week of 11/5, the construction crew will be forming and pouring the 21st and 22nd floors and installing block on the 12th and 13th floors of the tower. Upturned beams will be installed on the 14th and 15th floors.  Exterior wall waterproofing and exterior wall framing of the 1st will also occur on the tower portion.  The crew is installing 3rd floor block in the “C” section (the southern portion next to 1 Pierrepoint) on the west side. General housekeeping (clean-up and trash collection) and implementation of site safety protocols will continue.  ConEd is expected to be working on Clinton Street and there is a possible street closure.

Next week (starting 11/12), the crew will be installing block on the 3rd and 4th floors of the “C” portion of the building. On the tower portion, they will form and pour the 23rd floor and form the 24th floor.  They will also start limestone panel installation on the facade on Clinton Street.  Installation of exterior wall waterproofing, mechanical work for interior fit out from the 10th floor down, and exterior wall framing on the 1st floor Clinton St side will be ongoing. ConEd is expected to be working on Clinton Street and there is a possible street closure.

Here’s what you can expect to see on site in the next two weeks:

The week of 10/22, the construction crew will be forming and pouring the 18th and 19th floors and installing exterior block on the 11th and 12th floors of the tower. Upturned beams will be installed on the 12th and 13th floors.  Exterior wall waterproofing, exterior wall framing of the 1st floor and tube steel installation will also occur on the tower portion.  The crew is removing reshores and installing 2nd floor block in the “C” section (the southern portion next to 1 Pierrepoint). General housekeeping (clean-up and trash collection) and implementation of site safety protocols will continue.  ConEd is expected to be working on Clinton Street and there is a possible street closure by Con Ed or DDC on Clinton Street and Tillary.

Next week (starting 10/27), the crew will be pouring the 5th floor of the “C” portion of the building and installing block on the 3rd and 4th floors. On the tower portion, they will pour the 21st floor and form the 21st floor.  They will also install continue exterior wall waterproofing, mechanical work for interior fit out from the 10th floor down, and exterior wall framing on the 1st floor Clinton St side. DDC will continue work on Tillary and possibly the Sewer Connection for the project.  No street closures are anticipated.

The week of 9/24, the construction crew will be forming and pouring the 15th and 16th floors and installing exterior block on the 6th and 7th floors of the tower. Upturned beams will be installed on the 9th and 10th floors.  Exterior wall waterproofing and exterior wall framing of the 1st floor will also occur on the tower portion.  The crew is also prepping to pour the second floor of the “C” section (the southern portion next to 1 Pierrepoint). General housekeeping (clean-up and trash collection) and implementation of site safety protocols will continue.  ConEd is expected to be working on Clinton Street this week and there is a possible street closure by Con Ed or DDC on Clinton Street and Tillary.

Next week (starting 10/1), the crew will be forming the 4th floor of the “C” portion of the building and installing block on the 2nd floor. On the tower portion, they will pour the 17th floor and install block on the 7th and 8th floors.  They will also install upturned beams on the 10th and 11th floors and continue exterior wall waterproofing and framing.  The hoist complex will be installed on Clinton Street.  They will also install exterior block on the 3rd and 4th floors, and exterior wall panels on the 2nd floor.  DDC will continue work on Tillary and possibly the Sewer Connection for the project.  No street closures are anticipated.

August 20, 2018

Here’s what you can expect to see on site in the next two weeks:

This week, the construction crew will be forming and pouring the 11th floor, forming the 12th floor and installing exterior block on the 3rd floor of the tower. They are also prepping and pouring the first floor of the “C” section (the southern portion next to 1 Pierrepoint). We are also raising the hoist complex, as we move up the building.  General housekeeping (clean-up and trash collection) and implementation of site safety protocols will continue.  There are no planned street closures or off-site utility work.

Next week (starting 8/27), the crew will be pouring and forming the mezzanine of the “C” portion of the building. On the tower portion, they will pour the 12th floor and start forming and pouring the 13th floor.  They will also install exterior block on the 3rd and 4th floors, and exterior wall panels on the 2nd floor.  No street closures or off-site utility work are anticipated.

August 6, 2018

Here’s what you can expect to see on site in the next two weeks:

This week, the construction crew will be forming and pouring the 10th floor and installing exterior block on the 2nd floor of the tower. They are also completing forming the first floor deck of the “C” section (the southern portion next to 1 Pierrepoint) and prepping to pour the 1st floor. We’ll continue to install the cocoon system to wrap the upper floors under construction, along with general housekeeping (cleanup and collection of trash and construction debris) and implementing site safety protocols. ConEdison will be working on Clinton Street.  No street closures are anticipated.

Next week (starting 8/13), the crew will be pouring the final concrete to form the mezzanine of the “C” portion. On the tower portion, they will form and pour the 11th floor and start forming the 12th floor.  They will also install exterior block on the 2nd and 3rd floors.  No street closures are anticipated.
